Bath Under $35,000 Category Best bath project with a total project cost under $35,000. Project #11: Slope CeilingWe recently took on the renovation of a house with only one tiny 8 x 10-foot bathroom located on the second story of our client’s home. The bathroom layout was cramped, dysfunctional, and because of damage from a leak, the bathroom floor and ceiling beneath the bathroom were destroyed and improperly repaired years ago, resulting in a complete gut job. The team opened up the space by moving the doorway and toilet, updating their shower and claw-foot tub, as well as by adding in a vanity and storage. The homeowners were thrilled with the end result of their fully-functioning tiny bathroom. Company: R4 Construction LLC (253) 267-9759

Bath $35,000-$60,000 Category Best bath project with a total project cost $35,000-$60,000. Project #12: WATERFALL EDGETo transform this ordinary 1980's bathroom into a spa master bathroom retreat, we gutted the entire bathroom and created a new spa-inspired design. From calming elements found in nature, finishes were chosen to create the serene, soothing environment desired. Walnut cabinetry with a stone and glass backsplash, open shelving and an undermount soaking tub with a solid quartz tub deck featuring a waterfall edge enhanced the vision. Whites and soft green and blue were used for their tranquil qualities. Retreat – Relax – Unwind – This spa styled bathroom is now an oasis to calm your senses and renew your spirit. Company: Choice Carpentry Inc. (253) 851-2701 Project #13: SLEEK SERENITYA sleek, free standing tub along with a modified dividing wall between the shower and tub area created an airy atmosphere in this bathroom. Open shelving and wall cabinets, along with updating the vanity accommodates all our client’s storage needs. Stunning pendant lights, chrome faucet, quartz countertops, shower tile and mosaic backsplash all work together to create the perfect touch of serenity. Luxury vinyl tile flooring provides durability that will last for years to come. A glass of wine and a tub full of bubbles is the perfect way for our client to end her day. Company: American Dream Design Build (253) 539-4000 Project #14: HERRINGBONE FEATUREThis master ensuite was stuck in the 80’s with sloped ceiling, outdated fixtures, and choppy floor plan. The new design maximized line of sight by removing a wall and raising the slanted drop ceiling. For the shower enclosure we used Hydroblock and an MBA member provided the frameless glass shower surround. The shower walls are Hawthorne bevel tile with a unique herringbone feature. New sink, faucet, toilet, and vanity mirror modernize the space. Quartz countertops top custom-built cabinetry. Marble hexagon floor tile is a stunner. A custom hemlock barn door separates the spaces and matches the trim package. The finished project is contemporary and luxurious. Company: Kingdom Builders Construction (253) 313-3890 Project #15: WARM NEUTRALSFrom dark, cramped and outdated to a light and airy retreat, this guest bath made a remarkable transformation! Sophisticated neutrals and tantalizing textures create a soothing and luxurious environment. In lieu of built-in linen cabinet taking up space we designed recessed vanity towers and smart storage solutions. We removed the tub and installed a walk-in shower. Luxury vinyl tile flooring offers superior performance for both the clients and their four-legged family members. Custom inset mirror and sconces are bejeweled by full height glass mosaic tile and quartz countertops. This bathroom is truly an oasis of tranquility with a timeless style. Company: American Dream Design Build (253) 539-4000 Bath $60,000-$80,000 Category Best bath project with a total project cost $60,000-$80,000. Project #16: OPEN SHOWER SPATo create a luxurious master bathroom that these homeowners would love, we removed the tub and surrounding nook and the glass box shower to open up space and volume. This exposed the window allowing a flood of natural light. The new shower half wall with glass on top provided the perfect area for a storage niche and shower bench. The length of the shower made a door unnecessary for the no threshold, open shower concept. New cabinetry was laid out to place the sinks and faucets centered under the existing lights. Luxury features included heated tile floors and towel bar and a fanciful light fixture. Company: Choice Carpentry Inc. (253) 851-2701 Bath Over $80,000 Category Best bath project with a total project cost over $80,000. Project #17: Reflections on the lakeA dated master bathroom was redesigned in the same footprint, allowing for a large shower, a generous floating vanity, a make-up vanity and a luxurious, freestanding soaking tub. Special attention was paid to details, with multiple shower heads, a recessed niche and warm white colors and marble accents adding to the modern appeal. Many elements were selected for their reflective quality, which can be seen as light effortlessly fills this inviting space. A slight reconfiguration made a big difference, and the overall effect is spacious, open, and exactly what the homeowners hoped for! Company: MRF Construction Inc (253) 752-6950 |
